Searching EagleFiler With Alfred

I am sorry to type my response to a “release notes”, so please split it as a proper topic if you see fit, Michael. Aside from searching using Alfred as above, is it not a good idea to include EagleFiler directory, in my case, /EagleFiler/Files/, into Alfred default searches? That way, I can see the result of the search across all directories, including EF/Files. I know I should not manipulate this file since it is managed by EF, but for viewing, it will be very convenient to do all in one place. What do you think?

Yes, I do that myself (using LaunchBar rather than Alfred, but same idea) for one of my libraries where I often want to pull up a random file for reference or editing.

Excellent, thanks! I find it a better experience to have the same search interface within Alfred as compared to typing a string and sending it to EF.

Yeah, they are really intended for different purposes. The Alfred interface is great for searching files by name, whereas having Alfred tell EagleFiler to do the search is good for when you want to search the contents of the files using EagleFiler’s index.
