Spam mail still showing as unread badges on icon?

Hello,

I have my spamsieve Spam folder setup and it seems to be working, however I am still getting those Number (red) badges on my macmail icon saying that I have unread emails even if they are in the spam folder … is there a way to disable this?

I dont want to think I have unread mail and then go check only to find out I have new spam.

Yes, please see Mail’s notification settings.

I implemented those changes as you said Michael, but my spam box is still showing on the notifications number … any ideas?
