I don’t think I installed SS 3.0 properly. I do now have the extension icon on the bar at the top of my macbook. I’m running 10.13.6 High Sierra as that is the highest my 12-year old macbook can handle.
I still have the three Spam Sieve entries in the message tab of Apple Mail.
I’m not sure how to get rid of the entries in the message tab or if I need to.
Most of my spam messages are still getting sent to the spam email box and only a few go to the junk email box.
Not sure if I have an issue and would appreciate some advice on this.
The menu bar icon is actually not related to the Mail extension. It’s available for all SpamSieve setups, or you can turn it off in the settings if you want.
You do want the Message menu items, as they’re a sign that the Mail plug-in has loaded.
Well, it’s up to you. You can continue with that setup, or set SpamSieve to use the special top-level Junk mailbox so that all your spam messages go to the same place.
