SpamSieve 3.2.1b1 Public Beta

Here’s a new beta version of SpamSieve. The changes are:

  • Tried to work around a bug in macOS Tahoe 26, affecting some POP accounts in Apple Mail, that could cause hangs or prevent messages from moving to the Junk mailbox.
  • Worked around a change in macOS 26 where it would keep trying to re-add the SpamSieve icon to the menu bar even if you’d turned the Show menu bar icon feature off.
  • Fixed a bug where the Dock icon didn’t adapt to different themes on macOS 26.
  • Worked around a macOS 26 bug that could cause a crash at launch.
  • Fixed a bug where Apple Mail remote training would log (harmless) errors for POP accounts.
  • The Mail extension will now retry if it gets a timeout error communicating with SpamSieve.
  • The colors for the menu bar icon when training and filtering now use the same colors as SpamSieve’s Dock icon and Apple Mail.
  • Improved the Mail extension’s error reporting.
  • SpamSieve is better at finding the Apple Mail inbox when running in Spanish.
  • Improved the layout of the Software Update… sheet on macOS Tahoe 26.
  • Worked around a Help Viewer bug on macOS 14.
  • The diagnostic report shows additional information about fragmentation of SpamSieve’s databases and about the Apple Mail account types and how the Junk mailbox is configured.
  • Updated to Xcode 26.0.1.
  • Updated the Swedish localization.
