The manual references a database that could be replaced from a backup if needed. I have located “/Users/Name/Library/Application Support/SpamSieve/Rules.spamsieve-rules” and believe this to be the file referred to. In addition to that file, are there any other files that might be good to have backups of for that just in case?
The entire /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/SpamSieve/ folder should be backed up. Please see this page for more information.
Thank you for the response. I added those locations to an AppleScript that is run prior to any backup. The script goes out, finds the files and copies them to the backup folder locations.
