SpamSieve not starting up/no notifications

As I understand it, SpamSieve is supposed to start automatically when new mail is received so that I don’t have to launch it when I start Apple Mail. That is definitely not happening. Also, I am not getting any notifications of new mail either in the dock or with Growl as indicated in the preferences.

I did do a test of the rules and Spam was moved correctly to the Spam folder.

Does SpamSieve launch when you test the rules? If so, the problem is likely with your rule setup in Mail. If not, the problem is likely that the SpamSieve application is not in your Applications folder or that you have a copy of it in the trash.

Just started working perfectly…no idea why but great.
