I’m moving a section of my main library into its own library. I created the new library and dragged and dropped the records onto it as expected without any issues. I tried to do the same with Smart Folders that I’d created in the main library for those records, but they wouldn’t drag and drop to the new library. Is there any way I can copy them?
It looks like I can copy the Smart Folders folder in the original main library into the new library. I haven’t found any problems as a result, so that seems to be the way to do it.
Yes, you can use Finder to copy files between the Smart Folders folders for the two libraries. It will notice new smart folders the next time you open the library.
