Switched computers and now the library is wonky

So I had to revert to an old laptop.

When I open the library that is saved on the HDD which is still named what it was on the prior machine, I get hundred and hundreds of error messages telling me that the file is missing.

I don’t care about that. I can live with the fact that some files are not there.

But how do I stop the “error missing file” message and delete all of those messages? EF doesn’t seem to allow a bulk delete using something like Ctrl-A, but is making me do it one error message at a time. At that rate it will take forever to do that.

Should I create a new library and just move the raw files over to that, or perhaps reimport?

I wonder if the files are all really missing or if a folder got moved or renamed so that they’re just in different places.

You can do Edit ‣ Select All (Command-A) in the Errors window. But you don’t want to just delete the error messages because then they’ll come back the next time you open the library. Instead, click the Trash button in the toolbar to move the missing records to the trash. Then you can empty the trash so that EagleFiler no longer tries to track them.

Rebuilding the library is another option.
