Syncing EF Libraries Between iOS 16 and macOS 13 with Easy Encryption

Hi Michael, I’m a long-time happy user of EF. I’m a bit stuck on the best way to sync btw iOS and macOS. I want to encrypt the libraries that I sync-is Apple’s current end to end encryption with iCloud sufficient? It seems easier to not have to use a sparse bundle or boxcryptor to sync, especially since so much more work is currently done on the iPhone while away from the laptop (M1, MBP).
thank you for any help and for the most useful, brilliant app ever made for the Mac!

If you have Advanced Data Protection enabled on your iCloud account, you can put your EagleFiler library in iCloud Drive and it will be end-to-end encrypted, meaning that Apple cannot read the contents. You would be able to directly access the files on your iPhone. The sparse bundle is only be necessary if you want an extra layer of encryption or if you use colored labels in EagleFiler (since those aren’t supported by iCloud Drive).
