Testing my drone settings

Hello - I am interested in testing my drone settings for remote training while I am away from my iMac. I believe it is working but the emails that I move to TrainSpam are marked unread are often sitting in the folder for hours before they are removed by the drone, but eventually they are moved. Is there a specific (I am unfamiliar with the Apple Script processes) to test if the drone setting are really working properly?

I read that a can add a check to the script and test it, but I am not clear how to do that. I would like a step-by-step explanation so I don’t mess up the drone script.

It sounds like it’s working. With the standard setup, it’s normal for there to be a delay because Mail only checks the training mailboxes when a new message arrives in the inbox.

Alternatively (instead of using the Mail script and rule), you could use Script Editor to save the script as an application (with the Stay Open option checked) and then launch the app. Then it will check on a fixed schedule of every 5 minutes (adjustable in the idle handler).
