To many trash folders on my mac

Dear Friends,

I’ve been using this app for several years and it’s never caused any problems. I upgraded to a new Mac studio running sequoia 15.3.2 and SS 3.1.2b4.

SS started moving spam into the individual junk folders for each account (i have three mail accounts), so I set up SS move all my spam into the junk folder “on my Mac” for each client. Now I have 3 junk folders and an extra trash folder “On my mac” that I never had??? It’s not horrible, but it’s a pita when everything used to go into one junk folder. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

SpamSieve has done this for a long time. The difference is that Mail used to display the separate Junk mailboxes as one combined mailbox, but Apple stopped doing that by default a few versions ago.

I set up SS move all my spam into the junk folder “on my Mac” for each client.

I recommend that you undo that and instead set up Mail to display the special All Junk mailbox.

Michael, Thanks, that is the junk folders I meant. I have just updated 3 OS so still learning! ha Thanks for everything. I may need some more hand holding!
