Transfer corpus to a new user (not the same acct)

I want to share my corpus with another user that is not using the same SpamSieve license (he has his own). I read the help page for the same acct, but didn’t see a way to do it without transferring license info. How can I do this?

This is probably not a good idea, as SpamSieve works much better when trained with one’s actual mail. However, if you really need to do so you can transfer the folder:

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/SpamSieve/Corpus.spamsieve-corpus

I understand that. It’s just that my friend has over 10K emails sitting in his email box currently so I thought maybe it would kickstart it… or maybe, I can add his acct to my mail.app and let SpamSieve do it’s thing first… ?

People getting started often lament that they don’t have many old spam messages to train with. To me, if there are lots of old messages that need to be filtered, this is a great opportunity to get SpamSieve up to speed on his Mac quickly. I would have him go through the old messages in batches using the Filter Messages command. Start with small batches (maybe 50 messages) and train any mistakes after each batch. Then increase the batch size as the filtering accuracy improves.
