Is there a way to trash Spam folder contents while away on vacation. I usually get 50-75 messages is my Spam folder each day and I will be gone for 3 weeks. Do not want to overflow my system. Using Apple Mail with Mojave
If you’re worried about exceeding your mail account’s quota, you could set the SpamSieve rule to move the messages to a local Spam mailbox under On My Mac (which is the default configuration) instead of to a server mailbox.
I don’t recommend deleting messages without seeing them. But if you really want to do that, the way to do it is to turn off auto-training and set the SpamSieve rule to Delete Message instead of Move Message.
