Trying to import 154,000 emails

I’ve tried to import approximately 154000 emails from Apple Mail using the F1 command.

Each time, the import stalls and when I’m able to get EagleFiler working again, only 1 or 2 message files are imported.

Can you please tell me what I might be doing wrong?

I’m on a M1 Mac if that matters.

You’re probably not doing anything wrong. This sounds like a known macOS AppleScript bug that affects M1 Macs, which I’m told Apple has fixed in the forthcoming macOS 11.4. It the meantime, you may prefer to import using another method, e.g. by dragging and dropping Mail’s folders from Finder to EagleFiler, as described in Importing Mailbox Hierarchies.
