Two emails that are failing to filter

Long time user of SpamSieve. Never a problem but now I’ve got a couple of emails that just won’t filter into spam. They’ve been identified and trained as spam multiple times. Both of these are from politicians. One from Sen. Mark Kelly and the other from Pete Buttigieg. In both cases the reply to is different from the sending email and the sending email is a bit odd.

Mark Kelly sends from info@e.markkelly.com and the reply to is info@markkelly.com.

Pete Buttigieg sends from info@e.wintheera.com and the reply to is info@wintheera.com.

I’ve trained these both as spam many times. Still not getting filtered. I’m puzzled.

It should be trivial for SpamSieve to catch these if the sending addresses are constant. So this makes me think that either there’s a setup or training problem. Please use the Save Diagnostic Report command in the Help menu and send me the report file, as described here.

Thanks for the report. If you look in the Log window, you’ll see that SpamSieve hasn’t examined any incoming messages since August 8. I think this is because you have Check inboxes for new messages not sent to Mail extension unchecked. The Settings window is probably showing you a warning like this:

Yes it is as you describe. I’ve corrected that. Thank you.
