where can I find the Check Now button for updates in Apple meil?

SpamSieve’s Software Update window is in the SpamSieve app, not Apple Mail. You can access it by clicking on SpamSieve’s Dock icon and choosing Software Update from the SpamSieve menu. If you’ve hidden SpamSieve’s Dock icon, you can access it using the “SpamSieve - Open Window” command in Mail.
