Upgrading from 2013 iMac running Catalina to M1 Mac Mini using Ventura

I’m moving from an old iMac running Catalina 10.15.7 to an M1 Mac Mini using Ventura 13.2.1. I could not use Migration Assistant for a number of reasons (including that it just wasn’t working). Apple does users who can’t use MA no favors at all when it comes to upgrading Mail! I tried multiple methods and, in the end, had to export each of my mail boxes and folders, then import them. I had to re-add all my accounts (most are POP3) by hand, since there seemed to be no way to transfer them.

So I’m adding SpamSieve to a new Email that has a lot of old data. The rules actually did move over without an issue. All the SS rules are intact. Will Export Corpus (and importing it on the new computer) do all I need to transfer everything from the old computer to the new one?

It’s best to transfer the SpamSieve files as described here.

Believe it or not, that was my first instinct, but I know many times programs do things their own way. Glad I asked! Thank you!
