I am currently using SpamSieve 3.0.2 with Ventura 13.6.7.Can I upgrade to SpamSieve 3.0.5, while continuing to use the plug-in ?

Yes, all versions of SpamSieve 3 support the Apple Mail plug-in on macOS Ventura and earlier.
