Zero Filtered Messages

Hi Michael. I’m trying out Ventura at the moment and with the enhancements to Apple Mail, am giving that a go again for my work email. As such, I am trying out SpamSieve now but just wanted to check with you why I’m not getting any statistics through despite having been training mail for a few days now. Here is what the statistics are showing:

Filtered Mail
0 Good Messages
0 Spam Messages
0 Spam Messages Per Day

SpamSieve Accuracy
0 False Positives
0 False Negatives
100.0% Correct

Corpus
0 Good Messages
511 Spam Messages
70,923 Total Words

Rules
180 Blocklist Rules
15 Whitelist Rules

Showing Statistics Since

The plug in is showing correctly in Mail and the logs are showing training (manual) entries, as too is the Corpus working correctly. I’m just confused as to why the stats aren’t showing any hits on incoming mail and was hoping you might be able to help.

I’m running 2.9.49 on the latest Ventura beta build (22A5311f)

Cheers
Dean

If the plug-in is loading but you aren’t getting any Filtered Messages, that likely means that your SpamSieve rule in Mail’s preferences is not set up or not active. Please see Step 3.

Thanks for the gentle nudge Michael. Correct. I hadn’t followed the process correctly so my issue. Appreciate your help and can confirm it is working correctly now. Last step is to purchase a license
