SpamSieve 3.2b3 Public Beta

Here’s a new beta version of SpamSieve. The changes are:

  • Worked around an Xcode bug that could cause a crash at launch on macOS 12 when running on an Intel Mac.
  • Made a change to try to prevent the Settings window from opening as a result of two processes launching SpamSieve at the same time.

If you have not installed a beta version of SpamSieve before, first click here to enter the beta key. Thereafter, you can just launch SpamSieve or choose Software Update from the SpamSieve menu to auto-install the beta. SpamSieve will also notify you about future betas automatically. You can click here to stop receiving in-app notifications of beta versions.

Previously: Beta 2.

Hi folks. How do I get a beta key please ? I’m running public beta Tahoe and Spam Sieve has stopped working for me. thanks in advance

Wow, that was fast. I started up and was given the option to update. Thanks for that. Still not working, the extra tabs dont appear in the menu bar but I’ll go back to the install instructions to make sure Im not missing something.

All good, back in action, thanks

You can just click the click here to enter the beta key link.

Please see What If I Don’t See the SpamSieve Menu Bar Icon? instructions.

Michael - Where would you like feedback on the Beta posted? On Beta3 and experiencing some behaviors, which vary from prior releases. ie. Marking a message as Spam, and the message does not move from the mailbox inbox to the Junk Mail folder. Thanks - Myles T.

Please contact me via e-mail. I don’t think this has changed in the beta, so my guess is that it’s due to a change on your Mac. It would be good to test whether you see different behavior if you temporarily revert to SpamSieve 3.1.3.
