Here’s a new beta version of SpamSieve. The changes are:
- Made further changes to try to work around a crash when reading the corpus database.
- When you move a message to the TrainSpam mailbox, after training the message SpamSieve now moves it to whichever custom location for trained spam messages you’d set (instead of always using Junk).
- The Help menu commands and the Quit menu command are now available when the trial period is over, rather than only making this functionality available as buttons within the modal window.
- When the trial expires, SpamSieve will automatically clean up its launch agent file so that it isn’t left behind if you choose to delete the app.
- Tried to work around a bug in macOS 27 where the Dock icon wasn’t hidden.
- Fixed a regression where an error would be shown when launching Mail or Outlook if you had just deleted the SpamSieve app file (but not yet logged in again).
- Improved the following section of the manual:
- Restored the Help menu icons on macOS 27.
If you have not installed a beta version of SpamSieve before, first click here to enter the beta key. Thereafter, you can just launch SpamSieve or choose Software Update from the SpamSieve menu to auto-install the beta. SpamSieve will also notify you about future betas automatically.
